O'Malley to make transit development announcement

NEW CARROLLTON, Md. (AP) - Gov. Martin O'Malley is scheduled to make an announcement on transit development in Prince George's County.
O'Malley will be joined Monday morning at the New Carrollton Station by Lt. Gov. Anthony Brown and Prince George's County Executive Rushern Baker.
The O'Malley administration is describing the event as "a significant transit-oriented development announcement," but a spokeswoman declined to elaborate until the event.
