One dead, one seriously injured in car crash

A man died and a woman was seriously injured in a car crash in Triangle, Va. Monday.
About 11:40 a.m., police responded to a 1992 Mazda Miata overturned in the woods on Joplin Road, according to a news release.
A man and a woman were inside the car.
The driver, identified as Dennis Dale Lockwood Jr., 42 years old, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The woman, 51 years old, was flown to an area hospital with serious but non life-threatening injuries.
Both people were from Triangle.
