Pedestrian struck in Oxon Hill hit-and-run

A pedestrian was struck on the Inner Loop of the Capital Beltway in Oxon Hill, and police say, the driver of the striking vehicle fled the scene.
It happened just before the St. Barnabas Road exit early Monday morning.
Maryland State Police say the victim is conscious and breathing, and has been transported to a local hospital.
The investigation is ongoing.
