Person struck by car near Bureau of Engraving and Printing
Two people are in critical condition after being hit by cars in separate incidents in Washington on Thursday morning, police say.
The first incident happened at about 6:40 a.m., when a woman was hit at the intersection of Connecticut Avenue and Calvert Street NW in the Woodley Park neighborhood.
Shortly thereafter, a man was struck near the Bureau of Engraving and Printing, in the 300 block of 14th Street SW.
Both victims were taken to area hospitals and the investigation into the crashes is ongoing.
