Prince George's County police investigate double homicide
Police are now saying it was a murder-suicide Friday night that left two men dead in Fort Washington.
At about 10:37 p.m., Friday, Prince George's County Police responded to the 10900 block of Indian Head Highway for a welfare check.
They discovered Graham Edmondson Hayes II, 45, of the 7200 block of Purple Avens Avenue, and John Jay Bromwich, 47, of the 10900 block of Indian Head Highway suffering from gunshot wounds.
Hayes and Bromwich were both pronounced dead on the scene.
Hayes was shot by Bromwich who then took his own life, police say.
Investigation has revealed that the two men worked together where the shootings occurred. Detectives are working to establish a motive in this case.
