Prince William County police are investigating the slaying of a 75-year-old man in Woodbridge.

Police said the victim, Kwang Hur, was found dead in an apartment at the River Run senior center in the 13900 block of Hedgewood Drive. His wife says when she came home at about 11:30 p.m. Thursday, she found her husband’s body in their living room.

Police have not said why they believe it was a murder or how the victim was killed. They say there are no signs of forced entry and nothing appears to have been stolen from the apartment. Detectives will be canvassing the apartment complex later tonight.

"We are working some leads we've developed so we're working it, but we are asking for the public to call crime solvers if they have any information,” said 1st Sgt. Kim Chinn of the Prince William police department.

Residents said there are no guards and many of the first-floor apartments can be accessed without going through the lobby.

Residents have to use a security code to get through the front door of the lobby, but some fear that other residents could have shared that code with other people.
