Quarles Street apartment fire could be arson, officials say

D.C. fire officials say that a suspicious fire that broke out in an apartment building in Northeast early Tuesday morning may have been the result of arson.
Fire & EMS crews responded to the fire in the 4500 block of Quarles Street NE just before 5 a.m. The exterior of two apartments had been damaged.
No one was injured or displaced by the fire.
