Report: 14,000 rounds of ammunition missing in Fort Bragg
Military police are investigating the disappearance of nearly 14,000 rounds of ammunition from Fort Bragg, a spokesman for the 82nd Airborne Division told the Fayetteville Observer, according to the paper.
The spokesman told the Observer the ammunition is believed to have been taken overnight on Tuesday. The missing ammunition can be used in an M4 or M16 assault rifle, he said.
