ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) - Maryland's Department of Natural Resources is cautioning visitors to be careful in state parks affected by flooding from Tropical Storm Lee.

The department says all state parks are open, but some trails may be muddy or blocked by fallen trees. Some buildings and facilities also may be temporarily unavailable while damage is repaired.

DNR says one of the hardest-hit areas was the Torrey C. Brown Rail Trail, formerly known as the Northern Central Trail, in northern Baltimore County. A portion of the trail was flooded by the nearby Big Gunpowder River and other portions suffered erosion from flash flooding.
