Washington Redskins practice bubble to be complete by fall
September 2, 2011 - 12:32 pm
ASHBURN, Va. (AP) — The Washington Redskins are finally getting a bubble. The team says it is building an indoor practice facility at Redskins Park.
The project, which will be located at the facility where the franchise had held training camp for the past two decades, will be completed in the fall.
Washington and the Cincinnati Bengals are the northernmost of the 10 NFL teams without an onsite indoor place to practice.
The Redskins open the 2011 regular season against the New York Giants on Sept. 11.
