Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission launches free app
September 19, 2011 - 06:03 am
The Washington Suburban Sanitary Commission launched a free app that offers customers everything from convenient bill payment to service alerts.
"WSSC Mobile," developed for iPhone, Android and Blackberry users, allows customers to use their smartphone to pay their water and sewer bill, check on service alerts and report problems.
The app lets customers report a broken water main directly to customer service without a phone call, using the phone's GPS to transmit the location.
It also offers job postings and current news on WSSC.
