Woman fatally stabbed near Joseph H. Cole Recreation Center

WASHINGTON (AP) - Authorities say a woman has been fatally stabbed behind a recreation center in northeast Washington.
D.C. police say officers were called to the 1200 block of Morse Street, where they found a 42-year-old woman with stab wounds in an alley near the Joseph H. Cole Recreation Center on Tuesday afternoon.
Police have taken one man into custody.
The woman's identity has not been released.
