1 dead, 2 wounded in separate shooting incidents overnight
In separate shooting incidents early Saturday morning, a man was killed in Northeast D.C. and two men were shot and wounded in Annapolis, police say.
At about 12:28 a.m., D.C. police were dispatched to the 5300 block of Dix Street, NE, to investigate the report of a shooting. They found 25-year-old Carlows Michael Eady of Northeast, D.C., unconscious, unresponsive and suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services took Eady to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead at 12:57 a.m. His remains have been transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner pending an autopsy.
In Annapolis at about 1:30 a.m., two men were shot in the 400 block of Captains Circle, said Annapolis Police Det. Miguez.
The men--identified as Guan J R Brown, 33, and James Donta Wilson, 30, both of Annapolis--were taken to shock trauma in Baltimore, Miguez said.
Brown was listed in critical condition with a gunshot wound to his torso and Wilson was listed in fair condition with a gunshot wound to his leg.
No one was in custody for either shooting and no other information was immediately available.
