Two Md. bedrooms have made it to the final round of a competition looking for the worst bedrooms in America.
Joe Chenelly of Lusby, Md., submitted a photo of his bedroom after it had been destroyed by a large tree during Hurricane Irene.

Chenelly, his wife and five kids have been living in a hotel since and will be renting a new house sometime this month.
Beth Pulsifer Anderson, of Silver Spring, Md., submitted a purple monstrosity.

"The basic structure of the room is adorable but there is little storage," Anderson said in a news release. "It needs a built-in dresser in the knee wall. There is six feet of space. And the purple paint has GOT to go."
The winner gets $5,000 to fix their home decor disaster into a dream room.
The public can help choose the winner by submitting their votes on the Angie’s List Facebook page. One vote per person, per day is allowed and voting runs until Oct. 10. The winner will be announced Oct. 12.
