Ballston power outage leaves 1,700 buildings in the dark

A power outage in Arlington has left about 1,700 buildings in the Ballston area in the dark, Dominion officials say.

The outage has impacted the area around Ballston Mall and some of the neighborhoods surrounding the aera.
Crews expect to have power restored within the hour.
