Bill Clinton in McLean for Va. Democratic fundraiser

McLEAN, Va. (AP) - Former President Bill Clinton is coming to northern Virginia to help raise money for Democrats hoping to keep control of the state Senate.

Several hundred donors are expected to attend the fundraiser Friday at the McLean home of Clinton's friend, Terry McAuliffe.

Democrats hold a narrow majority in the state Senate. If they were to lose control following the Nov. 8 elections, Republicans would control both houses of the General Assembly and the governor's mansion.
