A death investigation is underway after police found a body inside a burning vehicle in Forestville early Thursday morning.
Prince George's County Police responded to the 2900 block of Kaverton Road about 12:40 a.m. for report of a vehicle fire. Once the flames were extinguished, officers found a body inside.
At this time, there is no information on the sex, race, or age of the victim. Police say they're waiting for the results of an autopsy of the victim.
The vehicle has been towed from the scene, which is described as a industrial area, ABC7 reports.
No further details were immediately available. In a separate incident in August, a body was found in the trunk of a burning car in Fairmount Heights in Prince George's County.
