ALEXANDRIA, Va. (AP) - The outer loop of the Capital Beltway will be reduced to a single lane of traffic Thursday night near Alexandria for construction associated with the Woodrow Wilson Bridge Project.
One of the three lanes on the outer loop just before the Telegraph Road exit will close at 9 p.m. A second lane is scheduled to close at 11 p.m., leaving a single through lane for the overnight hours. All lanes are scheduled to reopen at 5 a.m. Friday.
Authorities suggest drivers find alternate routes if possible to avoid significant delays.
