Culpeper shooting leaves one dead, two injured

One woman is dead and two men were injured in a shooting in Culpeper on Saturday in what police say is the first murder in the small Virginia community since 2006.
The Star-Exponent reports that Culpeper officials believe that the incident was domestic in nature.
Culpeper police responded to the 600 block of Willis Lane just before 5 p.m. after they received reports of gunfire in the area. The female victim was found dead at the scene.
The male victims were both airlifted to the University of Virginia Medical Center. Their condition is unknown and have not been identified.
The last murder in Culpeper happened on Oct. 22, 2006.
