Customer injured during armed robbery at Friendly's Restaurant
A customer was injured when three men robbed Friendly's Restaurant in Glen Burnie, Md. Sunday.
At 8:42 p.m., police responded to Friendly's Restaurant in the 400 block of Crain Highway S, police said.
According to witnesses, at least two men--one armed with a gun, the other with a knife--entered the restaurant and announced a robbery.
The men took an undisclosed amount of money from the business as well as personal property from patrons.
During the robbery, one man resisted the attackers and suffered a laceration to his abdomen.
The two robbers then fled with another who was man waiting outside the restaurant.
The customer was taken to Shock Trauma for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Two other customers who had been hit by one of the atatckers, did not need medical treatment.
The robbers are described as African-American men in their 20s. The two who came into the restaurant were approximately 6-foot and thin. They were wearing black ski masks and dark clothing. There was not a detailed description of the third man immediately available.
