Gregory Allen Ford killed in fatal Great Falls, Md. car crash

The 53-year-old man killed in a fatal vehicle crash in Great Falls, Md. was identified as Gregory Allen Ford of Lexington Park.

Police said Ford was trying to cross Great Mills Road near Carver School Boulevard at about 8 p.m. when he was struck by a vehicle. He was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Police said Ford was illegally in the road, wearing dark clothing and was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash. Speed and alcohol were not a factor for the driver of the vehicle.
