Herndon police search for suspect in two sex assaults
Herndon police are searching for a man suspected of sexually assaulting two women within hours of each other, telling both that he was a law enforcement officer.
In the first incident at about 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 11., a man approached the first victim in the 1200 Block of Magnolia Lane. He said he was a law enforcement official and sexually assaulted the victim. The suspect fled in a grey vehicle.
At about 7 p.m. the same day, a suspect again told a victim that he was a law enforcement official. He forced the victim into a grey car in the 400 Block of Elden Street. The suspect drove a short distance and then sexually assaulted the victim.
The suspect is described as an Asian male, 5’5” to 5’ 6” tall, 35 to 40 years old and about 150 lbs. The suspect’s vehicle is described as a grey mid-size four-door vehicle.
