A man who works as a middle school custodian has been charged with indecent exposure, police said.

On October 21 at 6:09 p.m., Eastern District Maryland police responded to the area of 219th Street and Marydell Road in Pasadena for a report of an indecent exposure.

Police made contact with a man who was walking toward George Fox Middle School located in the 7900 block of Outing Avenue.

The man told police he had been urinating.

Officers spoke with a 25-year-old woman who said she was inside her home on Marydell Road when she looked out her window and noticed the man standing near the street, looking into her window and engaging in a lewd act while looking at the woman.

The woman notified other adults who also saw the man's actions.

Police arrested the man, identified as Jason Beatty, 30, of the 8000 block of Mayer Avenue.

Further investigation revealed he is a custodian at George Fox. The school was closed that day and no children were seen in the immediate area.
