Edwin L. Morejon crashes after exposing himself, gets arrested
A man who exposed himself to a jogger then went on to crash the vehicle he was driving, leading to his arrest, police said.
On Saturday about 2:30 p.m., Second District police responded to a two-car crash near the intersection of MacArthur Boulevard and Oberlin Avenue in Bethesda.
While police were on the scene, a female jogger approached police and said the driver of one of the cars had indecently exposed himself to her before the crash, according to a police news release.
The woman told police that she had been running on MacArthur Boulevard near Walhonding Road when a car pulled alongside her and the driver asked for directions.
As she was giving directions, she saw the driver exposing himself and masturbating, the release said.
The jogger fled the scene to call police and the driver fled the scene.
Police arrested Edwin L. Morejon, 28, of the 2600 block of Arlington Drive in Alexandria, Va. He was charged with indecent exposure.
