Man seriously injured in SE shooting

A man has been shot in Southeast D.C., Metropolitan Police say. It happened around 9 p.m. in the 2900 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Avenue SE.
Police say the victim has been transported to an area hospital with life-threatening wounds. MPD homicide detectives have responded. Police are searching for the shooter.
