Davon Paul Gray, shot multiple times, dies

A man was fatally shot multiple times in the Southeast late Saturday, police said.

About 11 p.m., police responded to calls of shots fired in the 2500 block of High Street Southeast, police said.
Officers found a man with multiple gunshot wounds and took him in critical condition to Medstar. The man succumbed to his wounds.
He is identified as Davon Paul Gray, 21, of NE.
Earlier at about 8 p.m., in an unrelated case, a woman was shot near the intersection of Eastern Avenue NE and 60th Avenue, police said.
She was taken in serious condition to an area hospital.
No one was in custody for either shooting and no other information was immediately available.
