October 15, 2011 - 04:23 pm
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) - A top aide to Gov. Martin O'Malley says the governor's congressional redistricting map will be released soon without any significant changes to a draft plan.
Joe Bryce, O'Malley's chief legislative officer, said Saturday that the governor's map likely would be made public later in the day.
Bryce spoke to reporters after a meeting of the legislative black caucus.
Members of the caucus met Saturday afternoon to discuss the map.
A special session on congressional redistricting is scheduled to begin on Monday.
