Md.'s "Let's Move" program to promote healthy eating
ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) - Maryland first lady Katie O'Malley will be launching a new program to promote fun and healthy eating for Maryland families.
The first lady will join Dr. Judith Palfrey, head of the "Let's Move" Campaign and Sally Sampson, founder of ChopChop Magazine in Annapolis on Monday.
Under the initiative, a new healthy and easy recipe using Maryland ingredients will be featured every month for the next year.
The recipes will be featured online, at local nonprofits and health organizations around the state.
