NBA Lockout: Two more weeks of games to be called off, report says
The NBA is set to cancel two more weeks of games, according to a report from ESPN and the New York Daily News.
A Daily News source says that the cancellations of 102 more games would stretch through Nov. 28.
No further meetings between the league and the NBPA have been scheduled since the sides had a falling out last Thursday over the way revenue should be split.
In that meeting, the league reportedly told the union that they must accept a 50/50 split of league revenues. In 2010-11, the players made 57 percent of revenues.
The cancellation of games through Nov. 28 would lead to the Washington Wizards losing eight more games, two of them which are slated to be held at Verizon Center.
The reported cancellation would cause the Wizards home games on Nov. 22 vs. Boston and Nov. 26 vs. Minnesota to be called off. The other six games are on the road at Los Angeles, Golden State, Sacramento, Denver, Detroit and New York.
