The former president of a Loudoun County youth football league was arrested and charged with embezzling $50,000 from his organization.
Raymond Taylor, 44, was arrested on Thursday, and charged with six counts of felony embezzlement. The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office learned of the possible theft in late September after board members of the league discovered irregularities in their accounts.
Authorities say Taylor allegedly stole the money between February and September 2011 while he was president of the Upper Loudoun Youth Football League.
