Tractor-trailer accident closes road in Suitland

A roadway in the Suitland area of Prince George's County has been partially closed following a tractor-trailer accident.

The westbound lanes of Allentown Road, at Branch Avenue, were closed early Monday morning after a tractor-trailer crashed into a bridge underpass and spilled its load of lumber.
The lanes remained closed as the morning rush hour went on. The driver was treated for minor injuries at an area hospital.
