William McCorkle, Andre Clinkscale verdict reached

A Superior Court jury has reached a verdict in a high-profile murder case against William McCorkle and Andre Clinkscale, who are on trial for a 2008 triple homicide in NE D.C.
The jury found McCorkle, 26, and Clinkscale, guilty of three counts of first-degree murder while armed with aggravating circumstances and related firearms offenses for shooting three unarmed men near a gas station in the Trinidad area
The victims included Duane Hough, who was shot 17 times, Anthony Mincey, who was shot 11 times, and Johnny Jeter, who was shot nine times.
The slaying took place on May 31, 2008 near a BP gas station in the 1300 block of Florida Avenue NE.
