Woman killed after vehicle crashes into house in Pasadena

A woman was killed Wednesday in a vehicle crash near Mountain Road and Fairwood Drive in Pasadena.
The woman, who was not identified, was eastbound on Mountain Road when she lost control of her 2002 Volkswagon Jetta and collided with an abandoned home, police said.
Authorities said the wet road and speed may have contributed to the crash.
