It's been a month since the Occupy Wall Street protests began in New York City and they have already become a world wide phenomena.
Hundreds of thousands of people are rallying around the world and encampments are appearing in cities large and small.
The protest mission remains fairly loose and, for the most part, peaceful. However in Rome, riots erupted and demonstrators engaged in violence and destroyed property.
To get a visual idea of how wide-spread they have become, check out our interactive map.
We used various news sources as well as Wikipedia to gather information to plot these points. Keep checking back as we will continue to update this map in real time.
