November 15, 2011 - 06:16 am
One-third of break-ups now happen online, according to an unofficial study.
About 500 social media users were surveyed by research firm Lab42 which found that one-third of break-ups happen on the Internet, mostly through social media.
In addition, 40% of those surveyed said they'd opt for a digital break-up in the future.
