21st Street NE shooting leaves one dead, one injured

D.C. Police continue to search for a suspect in a Monday evening double shooting that resulted in the death of a Northeast Washington man.

Police say that Ronald Deacon Smith, 27, was one of two victims found shot in the 1100 block of 21st Street NE at 5:18 p.m. Monday. Smith was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other victim, who has not been identified, was found conscious and transported to an area hospital.
