Connecticut Avenue car accident injures driver, blocks traffic

Southbound traffic on Connecticut Avenue is blocked just north of the Dupont Circle Metro station after a rollover car accident, police say.
Police and fire officials say that the driver of the car that rolled over in the 1600 block of Connecticut Avenue suffered serious but non-life threatening injuries.
The driver was extricated from the vehicle and taken to an area hospital.
