Construction workers hit by car after Southeast D.C. accident

Two construction workers were struck by a car near the Potomac Avenue Metro station early Wednesday morning, officials say.
A D.C. Fire and EMS supervisor says that the workers were hit after a two-car accident near the intersection of 13th Street and Pennsylvania Avenue Southeast just after 8 a.m.
The workers were transported in an unknown condition.
