D.C. 295 to close overnight Nov. 30 for bridge work

WASHINGTON (AP) — District transportation officials say the northbound lanes of the Anacostia Freeway will be closed from 11th Street, SE to Pennsylvania Avenue, SE, overnight on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1 to install bridge girders over the freeway.
Officials said in a news release that the closure of that portion of Interstate 295/D.C. 295 will be from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. and detour signs will be posted during the closures.
