David Twitty sentenced to 8 years
A Hyattsville, Md., man who earlier pleaded guilty to possessing and distributing child pornography has been sentenced to more than eight years behind bars.
David B. Twitty, 64, admitted to using the screen names “perv62” and “perv63” to upload 91 images showing children engaged in sexually explicit conduct to a website where users trade those images.
After agents searched his residence, Twitty confessed that he had been trading child pornography for six to seven years. He said his collection included images showing bondage and sadomasochistic sexual abuse of children.
On the computers seized during their search, agents found over 42,000 images and about 670 videos showing children engaged in sexually explicit conduct.
As part of his plea agreement, Twitty must register as a sex offender.
