In the race for Fairfax County Sheriff, Stan Barry took a 54 percent to 45 percent victory over Republican challenger Bill A. Cooper III. Barry has served as the County Sheriff since 1999.

The three open spots on the Fairfax County School Board will be filled by Iryong Moon, Ryan McElveen and Ted Velkoff.
