Man hit by taxi in Dupont Circle
A man was critically injured when he got into an argument with a taxi driver in Dupont Circle early this morning, police say.
At 1:02 a.m., a man was arguing with a taxi driver in the 1300 block of Connecticut Avenue, D.C Police say.
The driver did not want to let the man into the taxi and began to drive away. The man held onto the cab, which pulled him down and caused him to hit his head, police said.
The man was taken to George Washington University Hospital in critical condition. His injuries were non-life threatening.
Police are looking for a white taxi they believe was involved in the incident.
The area in which the incident occurred is known for its bars, restaurants and nightlife. Over the weekend, a deadly shooting and brawl took place in the same area.
