SUV smashes cars on Euclid Street
Cars were smashed on the entire 1000 block of Euclid Street northwest. A witness says an SUV that was trying to park lost control.
Witnesses say a speeding SUV flew through the intersection of 11th and Euclid streets and lost control around 2:30 a.m. on Friday.
The car "side swiped one -- I guess he was going so fast he couldn't get everything together and it just went boom, boom, boom, boom,” said neighbor Donnie Norris.
The driver of the SUV was about to parallel park.
"He starts swiping more cars, looses control, goes airborne, car does a 180 -- it was like seeing your life flashing in front of you in slow motion. The only thing that could come out of my mouth was oh god- oh god,” said a resident.
The smashed vehicles stretch the length of the block. Midway down, tire tracks veer from the street up onto the hood of a car.

A neighbor showed ABC7 a photo of the SUV on the hood of a jeep.
“Unbelievable, I feel really sorry for whoever is the owner of the vehicle,” said Aisha Carr.
Witnesses say police appeared to be chasing the SUV just before the crash. Police wouldn’t confirm that information.
“I can’t believe, this is like a residential street so the fact that some one could go that fast an cause this much damage is really scary,” one resident said.
Others are glad no one was hurt.
“By divine intervention I'm standing here right now. I have never been so scared in my life,” one said.
The driver was able to get out of the SUV and run away. Police say they know who he is but haven't tracked him down. He's wanted on a list of charges.
