Kaya Dejuna Wilson fatally shot in Oxon Hill

A woman was fatally shot in an apartment building Saturday night, the same building in which a man had been stabbed to death the day before.

At 8:30 p.m. Saturday, a woman was shot multiple times in an apartment building in the 1000 block of Macy Avenue, Prince George's County police said.
The woman, identified as Kaya Dejuna Wilson, 29, was pronounced dead on the scene.
The day before, a man was stabbed to death at the same building.
Police do not believe the incidents are connected, but are investigating due to their proximity.
