Kourtney Kardashian pregnant with second child
Daybreak Daily’s afternoon over-the-fence greeting with the pop-culture world makes a rare morning report because of news that’s bound to amaze, as well as the mystery music video.
AND THE WORLD REJOICES: Kourtney Kardashian is pregnant once more, trumpets the Us Weekly cover story, no doubt an ominous warning to some. “Kardashian and beau Scott Disick are expecting their second child together.
The E! reality star, 32, took a pregnancy test about five weeks ago -- and woke up Disick, 28 (not a morning person!), around 7.a.m. to tell him the positive results. "Now I'm nine weeks along," Kardashian tells Us. "You're supposed to wait 12 weeks to tell people, but I feel confident." http://bit.ly/v8nu7D
MEANWHILE: The always helpful Associated Press, in its version of the big news, makes sure readers know the proper pronunciation of the little-seen name. “Kourtney Kardashian (kahr-DA'-shee-an) and her boyfriend, Scott Disick, say they are expecting their second child together.” http://apne.ws/uyFvAj
HEART BE STILL: Now a breathless world finally will know why Bachelorette star Ali Fedotowsky split from fiancé Roberto Martinez, per this week’s new People, “"I wouldn't be being truthful if I said this came out of nowhere," a tearful Fedotowsky, 27, tells PEOPLE for its new issue, on newsstands Friday. "We definitely had been having problems. But I had always believed that we could work it out." http://bit.ly/rQQSiC
BIG PRODUCTION: But still trying to find its way, per the Los Angeles Times, “It's not a true trophy show (no awards are handed out) nor is it a pure prime-time concert special (the music stops every few minutes as envelopes are unsealed), so viewers aren't to blame if they can't quite get a bead on the breathlessly named "Grammy Nominations Concert Live: Countdown to Music's Biggest Night" which airs Wednesday on CBS.” http://lat.ms/tafBfn
MEANWHILE: Look for lots of nods for Adele, per the AP, “She likely won't get "21," but Adele is poised to take the biggest bulk of nods when the Grammy nominations are announced Wednesday night.” http://apne.ws/rHtw2q
VICTOR, VICTORIA: Or not. But Radar does have photos and a video from Tuesday night’s Victoria’s Secret fashion show. http://bit.ly/tzdtqZ
MEANWHILE: Perhaps some of the Secret models should sit down for a hearty meal, per E!, “We can't help but remember the days when models like Tyra Banks, Heidi Klum and Gisele Bündchen took over the catwalk with their curves. Don't get us wrong, they still made us question our meal choices, but they were also voluptuous. And now, it seems like the wings on these newbies are literally going to whisk them away.” http://eonli.ne/ts1WYw
THIS IS A BIT ODD: The prosecutor for the Conrad Murray case says on a morning show the doctor shouldn’t have appeared on the same show, per TMZ, “Deputy District Attorney David Walgren appeared on "Today" this morning -- and said Murray showed a "complete lack of personal responsibility" in an interview with co-host Savannah Guthrie that aired days after the conviction ... insisting there's no way it could've helped Murray's case.” http://bit.ly/ts8SV5
MEANWHILE: The aforementioned item does’t match with this, per the AP, “The voice of Michael Jackson helped put the man who killed him behind bars. It wasn't the familiar voice of hits such as "Billie Jean" and "Thriller," but the slow, slurring recording of the singer that was found on his physician's cell phone that helped convince a judge to sentence the doctor to jail for four years.” http://apne.ws/txcvAp
AND FINALLY: Today’s mystery music video. http://bit.ly/4nSMcd
