November 15, 2011 - 08:10 am
Two people were seriously injured in a two-car crash in Loudoun County during rush hour this morning.
At about 7:15 a.m., two vehicles were involved in an accident on Loudoun County Parkway at the Route 7 westbound exit ramp, said a spokesman with the Loudoun County Sheriff.
Authorities say that the driver of a Hyundai Sonata came down an exit ramp and failed to yield. The car then struck a Toyota.
Both of the drivers, an 18-year-old man and an adult female, were flown out via medevac to area hospitals.
