Man shot, killed in NE

A man was fatally shot in the face in Edgewood early this morning.

About 2:20 a.m., police found a man shot in the face in the 500 block of Edgewood Street NE, according to police.

The man, identified as 21-year-old Silvestre Antonio Perez-Agustine of Northwest D.C., was taken to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead at 2:54 a.m.

Police continue to search for a suspect.
