Manuel Enrique Diaz Gomez found dead
A missing Silver Spring man was found dead Sunday, police said.
Manuel Enrique Diaz Gomez, 37, of the 9600 block of Mt. Pisgah Road in Silver Spring, was reported missing October 31 by his family, according to a Montgomery County police news release.
His family had last made contact with him about 11 a.m. on October 27.
About 4 p.m. Sunday, a passerby saw a man's body along Race Road near the intersection of Park Circle Drive in Hanover and contacted Anne Arundel County Police, the news release said.
Anne Arundel police determined that the body was that of Gomez and notified Montgomery County investigators.
His death is being investigated as a homicide.
No other information was immediately available.
