Mayor Vincent Gray to announce staff changes
November 21, 2011 - 05:47 am
WASHINGTON (AP) - Changes in staffing are underway in Washington Mayor Vincent Gray's office.
Gray is planning a news conference Monday morning to announce two new appointments to his staff and one to the city's health department. The news conference is at 10 a.m. at the mayor's press briefing room.
A news release from Gray's office says the moves will help Gray advance his goals for education, the city's economy, safety and other areas.
The Washington Post reports that Gray said last week that the changes in his office won't result in anyone being fired or asked to resign.
