Md. man pleads guilty to running child porn bulletin board
GREENBELT, Md. (AP) - A Cumberland man is agreeing to serve 10 years in federal prison for running a child pornography bulletin board with about 140 members.
U.S. Attorney Rod Rosenstein says 70-year-old George Sell pleaded guilty Wednesday to conspiracy to transport child porn. His sentencing is set for Jan. 25.
Sell acknowledges he was the top administrator of a secure website called Country Lounge that traded pornographic pictures and videos of children as young as 6. He ran it from December 2006 through August 2008.
Prosecutors say the network was hosted on computer servers in Virginia and Texas.
A co-conspirator, 47-year-old Terry Nolley of Silver Spring, is also scheduled for sentencing Jan. 25. He pleaded guilty in October to participating in the bulletin board.
